Bob is a man who can be trusted to make the kind of contribution that glorifies God, no matter what you ask him to do.
Stepping in to fill the Bass guitar spot in February 2003, Bob brought even more joy, enthusiasm, solidity and experience to the group.
Bob's ready smile and servant's heart are wonderful evidence of a man who has allowed God to overcome obstacles in his life.
Born and raised in the greater Chicago-land area, he started playing in bands when he was in his teens. Though he had played Bass guitar at different points in his career, his primary position was guitar and vocals.
He spent years on the Chicago music scene until he was stopped by the some of the same obstacles that plague many musicians. His wife Chris, a woman of solid faith, encouraged him to become more active in their church and he did. Nine years passed and many wonderful things have happened for Bob, Chris and their family.
Although Bob had quit playing in bands, he never lost his love for music (or the Chicago Cubs.) When the opportunity to play music for God came his way, his excitement was genuine and so was ours.
And when there was a chance that the Cubs might win a pennant...Bob was thinking "end times." LOL.
To have Bob, an exceptional anchor man, on Bass enriching, fulfilling and rounding out the band with more depth, integrity and quality of musicianship is a complete blessing.
Bob and his family reside in LaPorte, IN where they are very active in their parish and community.
